WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT

Brew Greater Good was born from a passion to promote the beer industry as a whole.  We strive to help key craft beer markets and developing areas to promote overall consumption of quality local brews.

Although many of our services cater to beer drinkers, our goal is to provide tools for brewery owners to elevate their brands to the next level, gain exposure through various promotional opportunities, and give back to their local communities at the same time.

We are a non-profit corporation operating nationwide with a team of dedicated beer fanatics.  Our main offices are in Seattle, WA and Boulder, CO.

FESTIVAL EVENTS

We produce various festival events of different sizes and formats.  Our first lineup of shows takes place in the Sodo neighborhood of Seattle.  Launched in 2017, this series of six ‘micro’-festivals showcase unique themes that highlight the seasonal creations and everyday favorites of 15-20 local breweries.  The events take place on Thursday nights throughout the year and sell out at 1,000 guests.  Intimate, educational and a ton of fun!

2018 events include WINTER BREWFEST, IPA-FEST, NANOFEST, SUMMER ALEFEST, HARVESTFEST, and WINTER CIDERFEST.

AWARD SHOWS

Starting in 2018, we’ll be launching a new format of award programs to showcase and recognize breweries at the state and regional level.  Collaborating with state and local associations, we’re working on enhancing the experience of breweries who enter by coordinating award banquets, tap takeover showcases for the public and other small tasting events to educate local consumers on the best brew of their area.

STAY TUNED FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS ABOUT OUR INNAUGURAL AWARD SHOWS AND THE MARKETS WE’LL BE IN!

ONLINE MEDIA

In the fall of 2017, we began piloting our online beer news platform, The Big Brew Theory.  With the site still growing, we currently cater to beer lovers of WASHINGTON, OREGON, COLORADO, “ROCKIES,” and CIDER.  Our content includes aggregated news about releases and events from your favorite local breweries, original articles and research content, beer tasting notes and reviews, and MUCH MORE!

After several months of testing, we’ve taken the site down for a short period to structure into a new and different format coming soon!

BREWERY TOUR EVENTS

We’ve teamed with various local social event groups in the Seattle area to launch our first series of BREW TALK nights where a group of 30-40 fans get exclusive access to an evening in a local brewery including behind-the-scenes looks at the production process, tasting through the product lineup with the creators, and special deals on beer and merchandise.

Look for our lineup starting in JUNE 2018.  We have one monthly series in SEATTLE between Ballard and Georgetown (West Side) and one in BELLEVUE, KIRKLAND, REDMOND, and WOODINVILLE (East Side).  24 total annual FREE EVENTS produced by Brew Greater Good.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

Over the past several years, gluten sensitivities and dietary trends have caused a rise in gluten-free beers.  Another large consumer issue that has seen very little press, but is a wide-spread problem is a hereditary deficiency of one of the primary enzymes involved in alcohol metabolism, aldehyde dehydrogenase.   Commonly referred to as the ‘Asian Glow,’ this condition is said to affect up to 50% of people of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean heritage.  Coupled with others plagued by the negative effects, we could be talking about 15-20% of the global population seeing uncomfortable reactions to beer.

PUBLISHING

With multiple publishing projects in the works that include how-to guides, business insights and behind-the-scenes accounts of America’s greatest breweries, our first major project is called BREW NATION : From The Brewer’s Mouth.  This is a unique collection of interviews with 100 catalyst brewers from around the nation.

BREW NATION is set to release October 2018 for The Great American Beer Festival (G.A.B.F.) in Denver, CO.

We can’t wait to share the first volume of BREW NATION with all the craft beer fans out there!

BREW MAPS

America has hundreds of famous beer towns and neighborhoods.  Our BREW MAP program is designed to promote breweries in a concentrated area with maps for consumers, tap list guides, latest news, event listing and more.  We bring together 15-20 brewery neighbors to contribute to a centralized campaign for their collective benefit.

Our first project is BOULDER.  Coming soon!

Do you gave a neighborhood you’d like to see us promote on a local or national scale?  Get in touch!

ONLINE COURSES

Under development and construction for a spring 2019 launch, Brew Greater Good is pleased to announce FERMENT ACADEMY.  This online training platform will have information from industry insiders, trusted, trade vendors, associations, event promoters, supply chain specialists, wholesalers, retailers and more.

Our program will contain comprehensive courses from starting a beverage business to distribution and beyond!

Be part of our TEST GROUP and take the courses months before the public launch.  Get in touch if you’d like to help!

COLLABORATIONS

We’ve got some very special co-op projects underway that team like-minded or geographically-united breweries together to market social venture beers.  The first of these brands is called SINISTER SIX.  A Western-Style brand, the project is enlisting the help of six different Colorado breweries.  Each will produce one of the varieties and market it through their own distribution channels.  A portion of the proceeds go to aid local charity causes.

Fans will have the opportunity to ‘collect’ all six around Colorado and may be invited to a special ALL-IN release party!
